OBC Cell was established in our College with the primary aim of empowering the OBC students in the College, and assisting and guiding them in their curricular and co-curricular activities. The Cell has been set up to help students from these communities to become an inevitable part of the mainstream by ensuring their all-round development and contribute considerably for the progress of the society.
OBC Cell has been emerged to create awareness on issues of discrimination and grievances arising out of disputes concerning OBC students. The Cell is also actively participate in various schemes announced by the State and the Centre for students.
To aware the OBC students regarding various scholarships program of State Government and UGC.
To take such follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Government of India and the UGC. Create awareness of ragging and its punishment.
To collect reports and information of State Government and UGC’s orders on various aspects of education, employment of OBC Students.
To provide equality in opportunities for education of OBC students
To facilitate financial support to students from these communities from governmental agencies and other sources
To Maintain satisfactory relationship among the students in the college and settle issues, grievances, representations etc.,
To Explore redressal mechanisms and provisions for remedial coaching, counseling etc.
To make the OBC students aware of the various scholarship’s schemes of the Central and State Governments
