    Admission procedure and Policy

    General Instructions

    Students are admitted meritoriously as per government norms through the Single window system. Due weightage given to the students as per Tamil Nadu government norms. Student admission process will develop by automation.

    Admission Eligibility

    Any student of any board is eligible, once, they have out of school. To take the admission on the basis of their merit to the Under graduate courses. Tamilnadu Higher Education has on live admission procedure and students have to take admission through the same. 55% in Graduation makes the students eligible to take admission to the post Graduation Courses.

    Admission process

    •  Constitution of the admission committees

    •  Commencement of admission process after the declaration of results

    •  Display of admission schedule on notice board

    •  Issue of prospectus

    •  Submission of application forms

    •  Scrutiny of application forms

    •  Preparation of merit list for various courses

    •  Display of merit list

    •  Completion of admission process as per the schedule

    •  Fulfilment of vacant seats through the waiting list

    •  SSLC/ 10th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate (CBSE/ICSE/State board)

    •  +1& +2 certificate

    •  TC and Course & Conduct Certificate issued by previous institution.

    •  Photographs of students – 05 Passport size

    •  Community and Income Certificate in original (If Applicable)

    •  Copy of Aadhar certificate.

    •  1. Demand Draft in favour of The Registrar Periyar University , Salem-11

    •  2.SSLC Mark Sheet copy and other relevant certificates copy.

    Special Reservation Information

    •  Special Reservation will be followed as follows:

    •  Eminent Sports person

    •  Ex-Servicemen (Only Army/Navy/ Air force services are Eligible)

    •  Differently Abled Person

    •  Son/daughter of single parent

    •  Other government desired quota

    Course Selection

    •  1.Can Select the courses from the colleges list you wish to opt for.

    •  2.You can select a course only by checking eligibility as per your subjects studied in Plus Two.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE APPLICATIONS

    Applicants must carefully read the information provided in the admission portal for Application Guidelines, Eligibility rules, Prospectus, Fee Structure, etc. before filling in the online Application Form.

    Online Application Registration

    •  1. Online Application: download and fill application form displayed in college website as instructed.

    •  2.Payment: Online Payment can be made once you complete the course selection process. A. The Applicant should possess a valid debit /credit card /net banking for payment. b. Application Rates
      i. Self-financed Course: UG: Rs. 300 per course PG: Rs. 500 per course
      ii. Hostel application: Rs. 1000 per candidate
      iii. Verify fees structure of the selected course.

    •  4. Only after successful payment of fees, the seat will be blocked, and provisional admission is given.

    •  5. The document verification will be intimated through SMS and email on the mobile number and email-ID given in the application form.

    •  6. Applications with incorrect and incomplete information will be rejected and provisional admission gets automatically cancelled.

    •  7. You are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the College, wherever given, for the smooth conduct of admission for the academic year.

    •  8. The college will not be liable for any loss or delay in the information reaching the applicant.

    •  9. For any clarification regarding online applications, You may also approach the college help desk on campus.

    •  10.The College does not accept donations for admission. If anyone promises admission on payment of donation in cash or kind, it must be brought to the notice of the Principal immediately.
