The Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) is established to address the concerns and grievances of students effectively and transparently. The committee aims to ensure a safe, fair, and harmonious learning environment by resolving issues that hinder academic and personal growth.
The committee handles grievances related to :
Academic concerns such as examination results, evaluation, and attendance.
Issues related to discipline, harassment, and discrimination.
Facilities such as hostel, library, transport, or infrastructure.
Complaints regarding the behavior of teaching/non-teaching staff.
Any other issues affecting the student's welfare.
Receiving Grievances: Accept grievances from students through an online/offline mechanism.
Verification and Analysis: Scrutinize the complaint and gather relevant facts.
Resolution: Address the grievances through proper investigation and provide an appropriate solution within a defined time frame.
Recommendations: Suggest necessary changes in institutional policies to prevent recurring grievances.
Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of the complainant and grievance details.
Submission of Complaint:Students can submit their grievances through the Online Grievance Portal or by submitting a written application to the Grievance Cell.
Acknowledgment: An acknowledgment will be sent to the complainant within 3 working days.
Hearing and Resolution: The committee will conduct a meeting within 7 working days to review the grievance.
Final Decision: The final decision will be communicated to the complainant in writing or via email.
