Minority Cell of Sri Ganesh College of Arts and Science, which is usually based on minority students from Christian,Muslim,etc.,. It is a part of SSC that creates socially cordial ambience for academic interaction and growth of healthy interpersonal relationship among the students from various social backgrounds. The cell is formed to extending moral support to our nation in creating equal opportunities to all especially in education and employment. The cell aims to help and enhance equal opportunity to minority students from the Christian, Muslim, Jain, Sikh and other community.
Organize special opportunities to inflate the career development of those students
Create the awareness for the scholarship schemes provided by government
Ensure an environment where the students from these categories feel safe & secure.
Motivate students to apply various schemes from Central/ state government.
Provide equal opportunities for education in minorities.
Encourage the students to participate for course ,workshop and programs
1. To ensure implementation of the affirmative policy of the Government of India/ UGC and the orders issued by such authorities for the benefit of community.
2. Observe the reservation policy for minority community in the college
3. Focuses in creating general awareness of the welfare schemes for minority community
4. Extend support financial assistance and other benefits.
5. Ensure the equality and problem free education at the college.
6. Uphold the policy of the government which is unity in diversity.
7. Provide a suggestion cum Complaint Box to collect the desire or a written complaint to the improve welfare of all section of society.
