YRC Committee

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) is a pivotal organization under the Indian Railways, responsible for recruiting Group 'D' personnel for various positions across the Indian Railways network. Established to streamline the recruitment process, RRC plays a crucial role in ensuring that the workforce of Indian Railways is both competent and diverse.

Objectives

  •   Transparent Recruitment: Conduct recruitment processes that are fair, transparent, and free from bias, ensuring that every candidate has an equal opportunity.

  • Efficient Workforce Management: Supply the Indian Railways with skilled personnel to maintain and enhance the efficiency of its operations.

  • Merit-Based Selection: Ensure that all selections are based on merit, focusing on the skills, knowledge, and potential of the candidates.

  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity within the workforce, offering opportunities to candidates from various backgrounds, including those from economically weaker sections.

Functions

  • Advertisement of Vacancies: Release notifications and advertisements detailing the available vacancies, eligibility criteria, and application process for various Group 'D' posts.

  • Application Management: Facilitate the submission and management of applications through online and offline platforms, ensuring a smooth process for candidates.

  • Examination and Selection: Organize written examinations, physical efficiency tests, medical examinations, and document verification to shortlist the most suitable candidates.

  • Result Declaration: Announce results in a transparent manner, ensuring that all candidates are informed of their status.

  • Grievance Redressal: Address and resolve any grievances or queries raised by candidates throughout the recruitment process.
